After a field name 'Old Peter's Three Score Acres', as shown on the Bainbridge Map of 1785
Taunton Lane
Leading to Taunton Farm, named after the sub-manor of Taunton, the de Tauntons. In 1234 the sub-manor was given to the 'hospital of St Thomas the Martyr of Acre' who owned it until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1536
Tollers Lane
Named after Robert Toller who owned a farm here in 1332. Referred to as 'Tollersland' in 1432
Waddington Avenue
A corruption of 'Watendone', the name of the village mentioned with Coulsdon in the Domesday Book. Watendone has  been lost, possibly as a result of the Black Death in the 14th century
